The chief mission of the “Missing Persons Resource Center” is to serve as a constant reminder to the government in fulfilling their obligations in enlightening the fate of all missing persons in Kosovo.
The NGO “Missing Persons Resource Center” is a unique organization in Kosovo that brings together families of missing persons from all ethnic backgrounds, encouraging cooperation among them with an aim of sharing knowledge towards enlightening the fate of missing persons in Kosovo.
i) Serve as a neutral meeting and information sharing venue for the families of missing persons from all ethnic backgrounds n Kosovo;
ii) Improve access to information and materials on missing persons for all interested parties;
iii) Increase awareness and understanding of the general public on missing persons in Kosovo;
iv) Hold the government accountable in fulfilling its obligations in enlightening the fate of all the missing persons.
i) Organization of regular coordination and information sharing meetings among families of missing persons;
ii) Establishment of a public information platform on missing persons, equipped with relevant materials to help research and follow-up actions;
iii) Organization of awareness rising campaigns, conferences, round-tables and other events;
iv) Lobbying and advocacy with the relevant government institutions, partners and stakeholders.
Direct beneficiaries are family members of missing persons in Kosovo and families of missing persons who currently live outside Kosovo territory.
Other beneficiaries are residents of Kosovo in general and all interested parties who visit the “Missing Persons Resource Center” to obtain more information and access to documentation on missing persons.
